# Join and start a live stream

>  Use this action to join a call and start a live stream simultaneously in full-screen mode. A credit card is required to unlock this feature. You can add your credit card [here](https://dashboard.daily.co/billing).

<Note>
  Live streams are pay-as-you-go. You'll need to add your [credit card details
  to your Daily account](https://dashboard.daily.co/billing) to enable it.

### Fields

| **Field**         | **Type** | **Description**                                                                                                                                                                                   |
| ----------------- | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Room URL**      | Text     | Enter the full Daily room url for the room a user would like to stream. This should be in the format [https://your-daily-domain.daily.co/room-name](https://your-daily-domain.daily.co/room-name) |
| **RTMP URL**      | Dropdown | Retrieve this from your streaming provider (ie youtube, twitch etc) This should be in the format rtmp\://RTMP\_ENDPOINT/STREAM\_KEY or rtmps\://RTMP\_ENDPOINT/STREAM\_KEY                        |
| **Meeting Token** | Text     | Enter a meeting owner token to livestream. You can use the Daily - create a meeting token action to create a meeting owner token.                                                                 |
