Added the ability to customize the bot’s voice when joining meetings. The API now
supports 11 distinct voices: alloy, ash, ballad, coral, echo, fable, onyx, nova,
sage, shimmer, and verse. By default, the API uses the “echo” voice. Specify a
voice by adding the
voice field to your bot_config when starting a bot.12/28/2025
Official launch of the PailFlow API. The API enables you to add AI-powered bots
to video meetings for tasks like note-taking, meeting facilitation, transcription,
and insight extraction. Bots can join Daily.co rooms, interact with participants,
and send results via email or webhook callbacks.
